Harpist Casper Reardon played the music in the pit that Vera Zorina mimed to in Act 2, Scene 3. On June 14, 1939, he appeared on “Let’s Talk It Over,” a radio program presented by June Hines on WEAF and played the solo instrumental of the title song of the show. We present both the solo of “I Married and Angel” as well as the full interview courtesy of Peter Mintun.
A score for Reardon’s harp solo was found among Vera Zorina’s papers at Harvard University by Michael Gildin.
